Goals and Objectives
~ To
encourage and promote the breeding of purebred Australian Shepherds in
such a manner as to bring their natural qualities to the highest degree
attainable.
~ To protect and advance the interest of the Australian Shepherd breed
and to encourage ethical breeding practices, including the acceptance
of the ASCA breed standard as the only standard of excellence by which
the breed shall be judged.
~ To increase membership and member participation, with a high degree
of communication and networking within the Club and Aussie community.
~ To maintain a Club newsletter, with articles written or donated by our
members, and posted to our website.
~ To provide education about Aussies, showing dogs, judging, grooming,
etc.
~ To provide well-organized events, conducted under the rules and regulations
of the Australian Shepherd Club of America.
~ To expand our Club website to include photos from our events, event
results, Club title-earners, and year-end award winners.
